What is documented

The US page lists a 3.14-inch body, StarSight Autonomous System 2.0, spinning mops, automatic mop detachment and a multifunction dock. These establish the design being advertised, not an independent pickup result. We have not tested the machine in a home and do not award it a performance score.

Where the design matters

Low furniture is a reason to investigate this model, but measure the narrowest opening and leave clearance. Skirts, rugs and concealed cables may still block access. Removable mops can support a dry-carpet pass. Confirm that the desired sequence can be configured for your rooms rather than assuming every automatic mode is suitable.

Plan around the station

Choose a location with service access and a clear approach. Consider the distance to a sink and room above the lids. Dock automation does not remove dirty-water handling or consumable replacement. Check manual clearances before designing a cabinet recess from photographs or footprint dimensions alone.

Buying limits

The official US page specifies 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, not 5 GHz support. Confirm network compatibility. Anti-tangle and avoidance features do not eliminate checks. Before checkout, match the complete Saros 10R model name, intended dock and US package to the offer, and review the seller’s current return terms.

  • Measure actual furniture clearance.
  • Confirm current US package and seller.
  • Compare compatible consumables and return terms.

Who should put it on a shortlist

Consider Saros 10R when low furniture access and mixed-floor sequencing are real purchasing constraints. Measure the furniture opening across the entire route, including trim and sagging fabric, rather than at its tallest point. If the machine cannot enter the area that motivates the upgrade, its low advertised body offers little benefit there. If your rooms are open and you rarely mop, compare the cost with a simpler system that meets your dry-cleaning requirements before paying for capabilities you would seldom use.

Plan a useful household evaluation

Before ordering, choose the route that currently causes the most manual work and confirm the return terms. Observe access, docking and the intended vacuum-and-mop sequence during ordinary use. Record interventions and station servicing rather than inventing a cleaning score from one run. Check whether the selected settings remain practical when furniture is in its normal position. These observations can establish suitability for your home, while comparative pickup and long-term reliability remain separate questions that this documentation-based guide cannot answer.
